BIFAC specializes in in-home programs based on the works and programming of Dr. Vincent Carbonne and Dr. Ivar Lovaas, supplemented by other developmentally appropriate techniques. We provide direct intervention for children ages 2 to 9. For children 10 and older, we offer consultation services but not direct interventions. These programs normally consist of between 20 and 40 hours of direct one-on-one intervention with a BIFAC interventionist. We also attend Admissions and Release Committee (ARC) meetings where we aid in the discussion of our clients' Individiual Education Programs (IEP) and any other type of meetings or appointments that relate to the child's treatment. In addition to directly providing services, we offer caregivers several resources which may be useful in aiding treatment as well.

Independent living center serving youth and adults with all disabilities. Programs include housing search assistance, employment readiness training & search assistance,independent living skills training,advocacy, rampbuilding, ADA outreach, information and referral, American Sign Language Interpreter Service, and attendant care program. All services are free of charge except ASL for agencies.

NARHA Premier Accredited Center Central Kentucky Riding for the Handicapped, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a high-quality program of therapeutic/recreational horseback riding, driving and related activities to students of all ages with varying disabilities.

Clincal Behavior Analysis provides state of the art behavior analytic assessment and treatment for individuals with developmenal disabilities, autism, PDD, severe behavior disorders and other learning disabilities. Jason Simmons, MS, BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a masters degree in Behavior Analysis from The University of North Texas. He works with parents, organizations, school districts and direct therapists to facilitate the implementation of scientifically validated behavioral assessment and treatment interventions. The Easter Seals Center of Louisville is dedicated to helping people with disabilities achieve maximum independence. Edelson & Associates provide neuropsychological and psychological testing services for children and adults. Testing to assist in diagnosis of Autism, Aspergers and related disorders is a focus of the Child Department.
