Our first responsibility is to inform and educate parents about special education law and the rights and responsibilities they and their child have under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The main goals and purposes of PIC are to help families better understand education issues as they relate to their child's disability, and to provide support and encouragement to parents as they face their child's journey through life.
