The DBTAC (Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center) provides training, information, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to businesses, consumers, schools, and government agencies within the Mid-Atlantic Region (PA, DE, MD, VA, WV, and DC).

Support and direction through legal process for your child; ages 1.5-21, through observation, home program/instruction, teacher/therapist consultations. This is an ongoing process, throughout the year, and IEP's.

A nationally recognized program created by Richard Solomon MD and based on the DIR theory of Stanley Greenspan MD. Our program is designed to teach parents play-based, intensive intervention techniques that are very successful in helping young children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) gain language and social skills. By focusing on spontaneity and emotional connections, our program is both fun and effective. Our highly trained home consultants provide supervision and support for families in their homes. We also offer seminars and trainings for parents, schools and agencies.

The mission of the Autism Training Center is to provide education, training and treatment programs for West Virginians who have Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (NOS) or Asperger’s Disorder and have been formally registered with the Center. This shall be done through appropriate education, training and support for professional personnel, family members or guardians and other important in the life of a person with autism. Training shall be provided by highly skilled and appropriately experienced staff.
