PCI Education develops and distributes materials that are adapted specifically for students who are struggling to learn. The unique products we provide are suitable for special education, regular education, English language learning (ELL), students with autism or students who are reading below grade level. Autism Camp at The Dan Center 8:30am-3:30 pm June-August, 2007 Autism Camp is a totally hands-on, multi-sensory, interactive day camp offering eight (8) two weeklong day sessions. Autism Camp offers internationally recognized programs such as The Tomatis Listening Method and Berard Auditory Integration (AIT): as well as nationally recognized Handwriting Without Tears, Interactive Metronome, Fast-for-Word, Lindamood-Bell, and Picture Exchange Communication System or PECS . Kids with autism and learning challenges will also have the opportunity to learn a variety of life skills such as laundry, making the beds, preparing their lunchboxes and baking cookies. Campers receive a I-Can-DoT-shirt, a step-by-step ADL/life skills ebook, an achievement folder and a certificate of accomplishment. Private sessions for the above stated programs, for Irlen Screening, Incontinence Training, Occupational Therapy are available.
