Hello. My name is Meghan Anderson and I am an ABA/VB therapist and consultant. I have been working with children with Autism for over 10 years and have taught at a school for children with Autism in Wood County, Ohio. I have a bachelor's degree in special education with a focus on autism and aba from Bowling Green State University. I am currently taking classes (via the internet) through St.Cloud State University in Minnesota to obtain my Master's degreen in ABA and my BCBA certification. However, my experience and education have proven to be more than sufficent to be a successful consultant (as I am for many families now). In Home Support Services Available In and Around Michigan Having a Certified Child Facilitator work with your child in their own playroom is a great way for you to see the techniques and principles of Son-Rise practiced in your own home. As a Certified Child Facilitator I can work with your child in your playroom while being observed, and/or videotaped, which is a great tool for future reference. The mission of Chrysalis Autism Services is to provide effective, data-based treatment and education of children with autism spectrum disorder by utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis, in particular those associated with B.F. Skinner’s (1957) analysis of verbal behavior.

The Cincinnati Center for Autism (CCA) provides a variety of services designed to help children with autism reach their fullest potential. Our programs address many of the behavioral, social, communication and motor delays common in children with autism. Located in Fairfield just north of I-275, the center serves children and families in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization formed to improve the condition of children, specifically children with autism. We use a variety of programs designed to provide education instruction, entertainment, recreation and social interaction in hopes of training for self support and useful, happy lives.

Our goal is to provide professional care and support for all children with developmental disabilities. Through various exemplary programs, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics provides diagnosis, comprehensive evaluation, treatment, training and education for infants, children, and adolescents with developmental disorders.

I provide program consulting services to families and schools for children with ASD ages 2 through 21 with nine years professional experience. I emphasize the importance of service delivery in the least restrictive setting and data-driven teaching in an ABA format. My focus is on lasting portable and pivotal skills that can be used across environments to increase communication, social, and play skills as these are reciprocal and vital to the development of all learners. I consult to schools on ways to support children with challenging behaviors and assist teams in writing behavior support plans based on functional behavioral assessments. I have a Masters and teaching certification in Sp. Ed.(concentration in severe behavior disorders) and 46 credits toward a Ph.D. in Special Education. I co-taught the autism graduate course at Lehigh University for four years. I'm also an adjunct professor at Arcadia University teaching graduate classes in low incidence disabilities, and behavioral approaches. Finally, or before everything else, I am the parent of a 15 yr. old with autism.

The center for autism at the Cleveland Clinic is a multi-faceted service provider for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and like conditions. The Center offers a full day year-round intensive applied behavioral program for students from earliest diagnosis to age 22 years. The center currently serves 74 full- time students and will accomodate up to 100 full-time students as its state of the art facility is completed in 2008. The center's intensive behavioral early childhood program offers tiered levels of instruction and low ratios. The Center's school program provides intensive communication, behavior academic, social and career development services. The outreach program provides in-home behavioral programming, consultation and training. Diagnostic and medical assessment to the pediatric autism community is also available.The center conducts research in autism treatment.

The Board of MR/DD provides services and supports to more than 8,000 boys and girls and men and women in Cuyahoga County. The community knows us best for our early childhood centers, schools, adult activities centers and group homes, but we're much more than that. Our full range of services includes everything from in-home early intervention programs for very young children and their families to leisure programs for seniors. Much of what we do goes beyond the walls of our own centers and homes and takes place in the community, where we encourage individuals with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and play.

D&E Counseling Center is a comprehensive behavior health treatment organization specializing in child, adolescent and family care. D&E Center has provided services since 1970. As a child adolescent behavioral health care provider we work with those up to their 18th birthdays.

The department of developmental pediatrics at Dayton Children's offers a variety of diagnostic and treatment services for children with developmental problems. Dr. Kasten and Dr. Amisola focus on services for preschool-age children (age 5 years and under) with developmental delays, including language, cognitive, motor or social. Dr. Pascoe provides services to school-age children with issues related to learning difficulties and delays.

Developmental Intervention Services, LLC (DIS) provides home-based developmental services for children birth to five years of age with developmental delays. Through a combination of assessment and developmental activities children are helped to reach their developmental milestones. DIS offers thorough initial and recurring assessments to evaluate a child’s strengths and areas of need. Developmental specialists provide individualized developmental activities to address the areas of need.

I am an Early Intervention Specialist trained in ABA, Floortime, and other education/assessment tool areas. I have five years of experience working with children who have Autism, PDD, PDD-NOS, and Aspergers.
