The Extra Eyes You Need. Autism AllyTM products are here to help you provide managed freedom for the child in your care. Whether at home, school, or daycare, we offer you peace of mind, room by room. The WanderGuard® Selective Door Monitor is designed to send an alarm when your autistic child or adult tries to pass through a protected door, while allowing family and friends to pass freely through the doorway. The TABS® Portable Door Alarm moves easily from door to door to help monitor bedrooms, classrooms or entrances. One monitor can be used at home, school or daycare. The Autism AllyTM Closed Circuit Television helps monitor an autistic child or adult from several rooms away. The Autism AllyTM Stop Siren Room Entry Deterrent helps discourage your autistic child from entering rooms you do not want them to enter.

We are a support group for the parents of autistic children. We use a family approach so that siblings and autistic kiddos all come to the monthly meetings and there is something for everyone. We are not affiliated with any organization, simply for parents by parents.

Our mission and purpose is to create meaningful relationships among the parents and children with autism. We provide a safe place where you can "share your smiles, share your stories, and shed your tears" with those who truly understand. Our goal is simply to "touch the heart of autism."

The Autism Society of Nebraska's Mission is to advocate, educate, support and create awareness for autism and to support families and individuals in the state of Nebraska who face Autism.

ASA is dedicated to increasing public awareness about autism and the day-to-day issues faced by individuals with autism, their families and the professionals with whom they interact. The Society and its chapters share a common mission of providing information and education, supporting research and advocating for programs and services for the autism population.

More than 10 national autism leadership organizations have come together to form AutismCares, a nationwide disaster relief effort that will potentially assist thousands of Katrina families living with autism. To address the most immediate needs, ”AutismCares – Katrina” is coordinating support for the unique needs of families affected by autism through facilitating temporary / permanent relocation support, mobilizing specialty assistance teams and providing autism-conscious supplies directly to these families and the professionals caring for them.

Answers4Families.org is a project of the Center on Children, Families, and the Law at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and is supported by funding from the Nebraska Health and Human Services System: Aging and Disability Services, the Office of Protection and Safety, and the Office of Family Health; and the Nebraska Department of Education - Early Development Network.

The Nebraska Client Assistance Program (CAP) is a free service to help you find solutions if you are having problems with any of the following programs: Vocational Rehabilitation, Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Centers for Independent Living, or Worknet.

The Early Childhood Training Center links experts across the state with those programs or agencies who request training on a wide variety of topics related to early childhood and family development. Trainers are current practitioners with demonstrated expertise--teachers/caregivers, teacher educators, program administrators, health professionals, psychologists, social workers and therapists--who bring their skills and knowledge to local communities to share with those working directly with children and families. Training is developed and tailored to meet the needs of each audience.

Helping children and adults with disabilities, while also providing respite opportunities for their families / caregivers.

Support organization

Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Nebraska is the local Chapter of a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing direct treatment, education, advocacy, and support to families who have children with autism. Education, advocacy, and support for all Nebraskans affected by autism.
