CASD is a multi-disciplinary center servicing children with autism spectrum disorders ages 18 months to 18 years of age. Services include autism diagnostics, speech-language, occupational, nutritional, and vision therapies; as well as social skills groups, camp programs, and parent support groups. Forever Free,Inc. is a Therapeutic horseback riding facility located in St. Clair County, offering horseback riding to individuals with disabilities. Therapeutic Riding has been proven to have many benefits, including improved posture, balance, self esteem and self awareness. Spastic muscles relax and muscles not ordinarily used are challenged. Horseback riding and horse related activities offer a new sense of freedom to those who do not have ease of movement or are struggling with challenges such as cerebal palsy, blindness or autism. The staff includes, Tracy Detz, NARHA Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Ann Detz, Therapeutic Recreation and Tasha Detz, Professional horse trainer and riding instructor.
