The Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law is a national legal advocate for people with mental disabilities. Through precedent-setting litigation and in the public policy arena, the Bazelon Center works to advance and preserve the rights of people with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities.

Groups Education Support for Autism.

We offer advocacy services from experienced attorneys and paralegals. IEP/504 and ADA related issues with school district. Advocacy with Soc Sec, Family Support Subsidy and mental health related services.

We exist as an advocacy organization to make it possible for each person with a developmental disability to participate fully in all aspects of community and to support the effort of each individual to determine his/her own future. We are a non-profit agency funded by the United Way, grants, dues, contributions, fund raising events and membership. Ribfest is our signature event. There is no fee charged for our service.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan provides services to people with epilepsy. These include telephone information and referral which offers information on current treatments, medications, financial assistance programs, employment discrimination, transportation and driving issues and health insurance. The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan also offers services on seizure management which include information on recognizing different types of seizures, seizure triggers, stress management, proper ways to take medication, and first aid.
