A Central Florida resource directory for children and families with special needs. Directory of medical providers and businesses that offer services to children with special health care or educational needs. We also have a message board for parents to connect with other parents with similar issues.

Activities are provided in church gymnasium & education areas. Nursery care available.

St. Mark United Methodist Church sponsors a respite care program in Birmingham. We care for children ages birth-13 with disabilities and chronic/terminal illnesses, and their siblings. We provide this care the first Friday of every month and it is free to the community. The program is run through 4 teams. Each team consists of 12-20 trained members and at least 2 medical professionals. Each team takes it's turn once every 4 months.

The Alabama Respite Resource Network (ARRN) is a project of UCP of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley, funded by a grant from the Alabama Council for Developmental Disabilities. Its purpose is to identify respite resources around the State and develop a comprehensive directory that will help parents find respite in their area.
