The Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services' (ADRS) mission is to enable Alabama's children and adults with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential. Easter Seals children's services help kids with disabilities succeed in school. Easter Seals employment programs help people learn job skills and enter the workplace. Easter Seals physical medicine and rehabilitation services help people return to their everyday lives. Special Olympics is an international organization dedicated to empowering individuals with mental retardation to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Special Olympics offers children and adults with mental retardation year-round training and competition in 26 Olympic-type summer and winter sports.

Our vision for the Auburn University Autism Center is to provide comprehensive services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), their families, schools, and agencies.

One of the most complex tasks both parents and professionals face is developing and implementing an effective language intervention for children with autism.
