Access Point provides intensive behavioral intervention services to children with autism and closely related disorders. Our staff have extensive professional expertise and clinical training. Our expertise lies within Applied Behavior Analysis and using principles of behavior to guide interventions in discrete trial training, pivotal response training, PECS implementation, picture activity schedules, and positive behavioral support interventions. A nationally recognized program created by Richard Solomon MD and based on the DIR theory of Stanley Greenspan MD. Our program is designed to teach parents play-based, intensive intervention techniques that are very successful in helping young children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) gain language and social skills. By focusing on spontaneity and emotional connections, our program is both fun and effective. Our highly trained home consultants provide supervision and support for families in their homes.
