Founded in 1957 by parents with children for whom no appropriate services were available, ACLD is today a premier provider in New York State. Services include Residential Options, Vocational Training and Job Placement, Medical and Mental Health Services, Early Childhood Education, Recreation, Family Support Programs, and Day Treatment opportunities.

Assistance with individuals who are on the Home and Community Based Waiver who want to do self-determination. This enables individuals with autism to live the life they dream about while not being at the mercy of an agency or service provider. They hire their own staff and pay them at the wages the individual deserves. They can supplement their lives within their families or while in a group home with activities and programs within the community. Individuals who are self-determined are in control!

We offer free resources, support & training to families and professionals dealing with Autism and its related disorders. We also offer comprehensive consulting and coordination throughout the world. We welcome anyone and everyone - regardless of diagnosis!

QSAC provides a wide variety of services ranging from Preschool services and Early Intervention for young children to Day Habilitation programs and Residential Homes for adults

QSAC is an award winning non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to persons with autism and/or pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) throughout New York City and Long Island. QSAC was established in 1978 by a group of parents who were concerned about the lack of services available for their loved ones with autism. These parents strongly believed that people with autism were capable of living at home and participating in normal social activities, forming relationships, maintaining employment and becoming productive members of the community. The founders of QSAC were determined to serve the needs of their children, and those that followed, by providing a cost-effective, community-based alternative to life long institutionalization. Through their commitment and energy, QSAC was born. Today, in partnership with community-based organizations like the Autism Society of America, QSAC is a leader in the provision of services to persons with autism and their families. QSAC provides direct services to more than 800 individuals with autism. QSAC's services range from Early Intervention and Preschool Programs for young children to Day Programs and Residential Services for adults. QSAC also provides educational and support services to family members and caregivers of persons with autism. All of the services provided by QSAC are geared towards providing consumers with a more independent, productive, and fulfilled life.

Sprout is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities and mental retardation grow through challenging and safe travel experiences. Based in New York City, our programs are available to people with MR/DD and the agencies that serve them throughout the United States.

About Us: Tender Care Human Services, Inc is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that was founded in Queens, New York by a group of individuals who wanted to make a difference in children's lives. Our goal is to provide educational, behavioral, residential, and recreational and respite services to individuals with Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, or to children with other Developmental Disabilities throughout the New York City area.
