I am available to provide behavioral health services to individuals on the autism spectrum, both adults and children, including applied behavioral analysis, behavioral therapy, behavioral consultation, parent training, advocacy and am also available for speaking engagements on this topic.
I have been employed in the mental health field for 20+ years in a variety of roles and settings, and have a history of extensive experience with a multitude of populations and diagnosis. I currently specialize in providing services to individuals on the autism spectrum and can provide services as a Licensed Behavioral Specialist. I obtained my Master's Degree in Psychology from Duquesne University in 1991, and am currently a third year Doctoral Candidate (Counseling Psychology) at Carlow University. It is my intent to specialize in developmental psychology and to continue to treat both children and adults. I am highly motivated, and dedicated to the field, and have a personal interest in child advocacy and social justice. I enjoy providing supervision to other professionals in the field, as well as providing clinical care to my own clients. I have worked in community mental health centers, out-patient settings, hospitals, schools and client's homes providing culturally sensitive and individualized behavioral health services, with a personal touch. I also have an adult child who was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, and so can offer both a parental, as well as a professional, perspective on client treatment. I am available for consultation to offer both professional insight, as well as practical advice, for parents who find themselves in this challenging role.
