The Autism Society of Oregon is a state-wide support group, and it is the state chapter of the Autism Society of America. The mission of the Autism Society of Oregon (ASO) shall be to provide a statewide organization that will:
Empower individuals with Autism, their families, and their service providers to improve the quality of their lives as they cope with Autism;
Increase awareness of needs, interests, and solutions related to Autism in Oregon's communities, service provider systems, and government agencies;
Create a statewide information and resource network in order to facilitate communication and service delivery within Oregon's autism community.
