This is a unique and comprehensive social skills program for teens and young adults. A close 24 week program provides a safe and supported environment to develop the social skills tools needed to generalize to their natural environment. The program allows to experience and value friendship.
This social skills program draws on a variety of modalities to move participants through a 24 weeks social skills program utilizing lesson plans that build on each other to learn about basic tools such as eye gaze, voice volume, staing on topic and moving to joining and sustaining a conversation. Learning to read body language, conflict resolution and more. Bonds are formed through the participants and social skills develop through role plays, modeling of typical participants and simple homework exercises.This program is vendored by the Westside Regional Center
