Specializing in the treatment and education of autistic school-age children (and serving children with other disabling communication disorders) the TALK Institute and School is Pennsylvania's only full-time speech and language school. Our unique multi-pronged approach addresses the underlying core deficits present in the non-verbal or verbally incompetent child. Our program is intensively therapeutic and fully academic with an emphasis on fluent communication and literacy. We are driven by the belief that the autistic child is intellectually intact and trapped in a body that distorts and interferes with appropriate interaction with the world around them.
