Professionals for Learning

P.F.L.'s mission is to provide quality services to children with developmental disabilities using a behavioral approach to learning. We wish to provide children with the ability to reach their fullest potential possible, through the use of a child-specific curriculum. We provide training and support to families to increase their knowledge of applied behavior analysis and enable them to teach their child new skills as well as to generalize skills learned during therapy sessions. P.F.L. uses teaching methods that are data-based, and have been shown to be effective in controlled research studies.
P.F.L. believes in a "team approach", in which all of the individuals who provide services to the child work together to attain one goal (helping the child reach his/her fullest potential), regardless of the discipline that they come from.
