Modern Driver Institute specializes in defensive driver training for individuals with autism, anxiety and learning disabilities.
Modern Driver Institute specializes in training individuals with autism, anxiety or learning disabilities how to drive legally and defensively for a lifetime of safe driving. MDI supports students throughout the entire process, with classroom programs and tutoring sessions to get through the knowledge test, behind the wheel training and driving test preparation. MDI owner/instructor Michael Mercadante has been training autistic teens and adults to drive safely for nearly 4 years, and is completing his MS in Educational Psychology this spring. Modern Driver Institute serves families in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
