Damselfly Center

Our vision at damselfly is to create an space where people can explore their creativity realize their potential and experience a sense of belonging in an environment that supports awareness. Our theoretical framework is a body-based humanistic approach that uses a solution-focused brief therapy perspective that supports cognitive-developmental principles. We use the arts to engage kids from a multi-sensory and multi-dimensional perspective. The creative process is the catalyst to uncovering the potential in an individual. Our focus is strength based as opposed to problem centered. We believe that the client holds within them the knowledge needed to make changes that lead to greater effectiveness. The groups at Damselfly engage kids from this perspective and allow for awareness to be the catalyst for change and skill development.Parent Coaching/Parent Information Center
