Creating Inclusive Opportunities, LLC (CIO) is led by a husband and wife team who have a combined 16 years of service supporting individuals with autism and other similar developmental disabilities. CIO provides an adaptive skills training program that supports children and adults with autism in the home, school, and community environment. CIO specializes in positive behavior support, social skills development, and inclusion practices. The agency strongly believes that individuals with autism should be educated in general education classrooms and should have access to the general education curriculum as do their same age peers who are typically developing. CIO will collaborate with families and other professionals in providing appropriate adaptations giving individuals with autism access to the same opportunities in natural environments as their peers who are typically developing.
CIO utilizes an integrated service delivery model to provide support to the individual. An integrated service delivery model is a person centered holistic approach that implements the methods and strategies of many service delivery models that work well together.
