Connec-to-Talk, privately owned since 2003, is a leading private practice in the speech pathology field. Our name reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to clients with speech difficulties and disorders. We believe in using a holistic approach to treatment, in which the whole child's needs are considered in all treatment plans and interventions. Connec-to-Talk utilizes multiple treatment principles to provide the most successful therapy for each client. Connec-to-Talk is equipped to provide therapy for individuals with autistm spectrum disorders, motor speech disorders, social language difficulties, sensory integretation disorders, sensory motor and fine motor weaknesses.
At Connec-to-Talk we believe in a collaborative model which is why we offer co-treatment sessions. Co-treatment sessions are facilitated by a certified speech language pathologist and occupational therapist. Together, both disciplines work together to help a child reach his/her optimal level of arousal to maximize the development of language skills.
