The Autism Support Group of Northwest Arkansas, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to raising Autism Awareness. The following are a few ways in which this can be achieved.
1. Help parents and families obtain information on Autism Spectrum Disorders, resources available to them, therapy services offered and to provide training to increase the quality of the overall care of their child on the Spectrum.
2. Provide educators with training to teach children with ASD giving the children the opportunity to receive the best educational opportunities so they may achieve their hightest learning potential.
3. Educate the general public of disorders within the Autism Spectrum so the community will accept those affected by this lifelong disability as an unique individual with abilities and talents, not unlike themselves.
